What Viola is
Viola writes personalised stories, affirmations and images based on what you tell it, and reads them aloud. It is a motivation and reflection tool.
What Viola is not
Viola is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional. Nothing it writes is a prediction or a promise about your life. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified person or a local helpline.
AI content
Stories, affirmations and images are generated. They can be wrong, odd, or not to your taste. You are responsible for what you do with them. Do not rely on generated text for any decision that matters.
Your account and your content
What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to process it in order to run the features you asked for, and nothing else. Do not put anything into Viola that is illegal, that belongs to somebody else, or that describes another identifiable person in a way they would object to.
Subscriptions
Viola Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, offered weekly, monthly and yearly. There is no free trial and no introductory price; the plan you pick is charged when you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. It renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in the App Store under your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Free use
Without a subscription you can create a limited number of stories and read the daily affirmations. We may change those limits.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your data and removing the app. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or breaks these terms.
Liability
Viola is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
